The Hall can be difficult for new visitors as it is tucked down the driveway bweteen two cottages. See image of entrance:

Parking is the local streets, visitors should be considerate of our neighbours.

• Absolutely no parking outside the cottages either side of the driveway to the hall, drop off is acceptable. 

• The hall is open from around 19:15

• The meeting will start at 19:45 and should end before 22:00. 

• We will take a break half way through the battle for Refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits - guests do not need to pay)

Battle rules

• External judge arranged by host (DPS)

• 10 prints and 10 PDI’s from each PS

• Print mount - maximum of 500mm x 400mm

• DPIs max W1600 pixels x H1200 pixels

• Maximum of two prints and two PDIs (four in total) from one member. 

• We use Photo Entry to collate images for battles and competitions.

• Andrew Swan our Competition Secretary will set up the battles on the system and provide both Societies with access to upload images. 

This year we are asking members to submit a digital copy of their print so we can present the copy on the screen at the same time as the judge reviews the print. (the judge is not judging the digital copy of the print - although they may refer to the screen image when pointing out feedback)

Digital copies of the prints need to be W1600 pixels x H1200 pixels to allow them to be projected correctly.
